4 Day gorilla safari Uganda – Double gorillas trekking
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable forest National Park
After breakfast our representative will pick you from your hotel and drive you to south western Uganda. Have Lunch along the way and drive through the beautiful country as you view banana plantations, tea plantations, and the verdant rolling hills dotted with terraced farmlands, homesteads and some long horned Ankole cattle.
Day 2: First Gorilla tracking Adventure
After an early breakfast you will proceed to the park headquarters where you will be briefed about this gorilla tracking activity, and from there you will set out into the impenetrable Bwindi forest looking for the gentle forest giants. This trek may last between 2 and 8 hours based on the movement of these gorillas. You will be allowed to spend an hour with the gorillas as you take photographs, and observe them play and feed. Day 3: Second Gorilla Tracking
Following breakfast, you will proceed to the park headquarters with a packed lunch and there you will be briefed. Today you will go into the Bwindi to look for another gorilla family with a completely different lifestyle and characters. Later in the day, you will have a cultural walk to the pygmy Batwa community to enjoy their cultural performances, see the local brewers as well as the traditional healers. Dine and slumber .
Day 4: Departure
After breakfast you will drive back to the capital Kampala, having lunch in Mbarara town. You will have a stopover at the crossing of the equator and take some photographs and then continue to the airport for your departure flight.
