The Tour Overview
With this safari, you will be able to take a trip in two countries; Uganda and Congo visiting places like the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the Kibale Forest National Park and the Kahuzi Biega National Park. Take part in activities like gorilla tracking for both the eastern lowland and mountain gorillas and chimpanzee trekking too!

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Hotel
After you have landed at the Entebbe International Airport you will be received by your guide driver who is to take you to your lodging facility where you are to check in, have a meal and then get some sleep thereafter as a preparation for the following day’s events.
Accommodation: The Namirembe Guest House.
Day 2: Transfer to the Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy your early morning meal at your lodging facility before beginning your journey to the Kibale Forest. This park is famed nationwide because it has got a very high concentration of the primate species in the country, most of which are the Chimpanzees. Make a stopover for lunch and after that proceed to the park arriving just in time to take on an adventurous chimpanzee tracking activity at noon. Have dinner later and retire to sleep at your lodge.
Accommodation: The Kibale Forest Camp, Mountains of the Moon and the Chimpanzee Forest Guest House.
Day 3: Transfer to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Begin your journey to the Bwindi Impenetrable National park after a satisfying early breakfast and travel en route through the Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will enjoy a drive in the park. Be sure see climbing lions when at the Ishasha sector and spend about 5 to 7 hours travelling to Bwindi. Arrive at your hotel where you will have a meal, get refreshed and grab some sleep.
Accommodation: The Kisoro Traveler’s Inn, The Lake Mutand Resort and or the Buhoma Community Rest Camp.
Day 4: Mountain Gorilla Tracking
Enjoy your morning breakfast and after head to the park headquarters where the lead ranger will guide you through the dont’s and do’s in the presence of the gorillas. Carry some lunch and proceed into the thick rainforest in search of the “gentle giants” sometimes taking close to 9 hours getting to where they are. Take pleasure in this awe-inspiring wildlife encounter with the gorillas as you watch them go about their daily routine and after the passing of an hour, descend back to your hotel for an overnight and dinner.
Day 5: Travel to Bukavu
After having your usual cup of early morning tea, travel to the Cyanika border of Uganda and Rwanda and thereafter continue to Ruhenjeri and then to Gisenyi en route the Cyangugu Rwanda and Congo border. Arrive late in the evening at Bukavu in time for dinner and rest.
Accommodation: The Far Horizon Hotel, the Panorama Hotel and or the Orchids Hotel.
Day 6: Lowland Gorilla Tracking
Get up to breakfast early in the morning before being transferred to the beginning point of your trek in the Kahuzi Biega at Tshavara. Here, have yourself one of the best moments tracking these lowland gorillas as you watch them do a couple of things like feed and play. Return then to Bukavu to have your dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Departure
Have breakfast and together with your driver, head to the Cyangugu border crossing into Kigali. Enjoy your lunch along the way before getting to Rwanda’s capital where you will be taken to the airport for your departure flight.
