6 days Uganda Gorilla and Wildlife

Day 1: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National park.
Our driver-guide will pick you from the hotel, and then head southwestwards to the famed Queen Elizabeth national park, which is among Uganda’s most traveled to national parks to see the great diversity of wildlife. along the way you will stop over for lunch in Mbarara after which you will drive through Mbarara to Queen Elizabeth National park enjoying an en route game drive a as you drive to your accommodation. Dine and slumber at Simba safari camp, or at Mweya safari lodge, or Jacana safari lodge.

Day 2: Chimp tracking and Boat cruise.
After breakfast you are to head to the Kyambura gorge to track Chimpanzees and other primates. Among the primates you will encounter here are:  Chimps, baboons and monkeys. You will head back for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon enjoy a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel to see  hippos, crocodiles, plus various water birds like the kingfishers, shoebill stork, herons and the bee eater, plus many others.

Day 3: Game drive and drive to Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, have a  game drive within the Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos, and a profusion of bird species. From here you will proceed to Bwindi where you will arrive in the evening. Dine and slumber at Buhoma community bandas, or Gorillas guest hotel, or Lake Kitandara.

Day 4: Mountain Gorilla tracking.
This is will be the highlight of your safari as you will come face to face with the giants of Bwindi. Head to the park headquarters early morning where you will be briefed about the trekking activity. Set out into the forest to trekking gorillas in the thick Bwindi forest. The trekking may take anything from 2 to 6 hours along the slippery trails. On meeting the gorillas, you will be allowed to send an hour in their presence before heading back to the lodge for lunch. Have a walk to the Batwa Community to see the fascinating culture and also enjoy their great entertainment of traditional dances and songs. Dine and slumber at your lodge.
Day 5: Drive to Lake Mburo.
After breakfast drive to Lake Mburo National park, and enjoy an en route game drive as you head to the park headquarters. From there you will have an afternoon canoe ride on the lake to see crocodiles and hippos plus the great profusion of birds. Dine and slumber at

Day 6: Nature walks and transfers to Kampala.
Following breakfast you will set out on a guided nature walk to view the great topography of this park. As you drive out of the park, you will enjoy a game drive on the drive to Kampala, having an en route stopover to have lunch and take photos at the equator as well as buy some souvenirs at the African craft market. On arrival in Kampala you will be transferred to your hotel or the airport for your departure flight basing on your schedule.
