3 Days Wildlife Safari Queen Elizabeth National Park
The queen of England Queen Elizabeth has personally visited Uganda and taken a safari to Queen Elizabeth National park which was actually named after this visit.

Day 1: Kampala / Queen Elizabeth safari
Today we start this 3 day Queen Elizabeth Uganda wildlife Safari; waking up early and leaving Kampala at about 7:00am in the company of an English Speaking Driver-guide in a 4WD Safari Vehicle. This drive will take you through the gorgeous countryside to arrive in Queen Elizabeth on time for lunch. You will afterwards check into your place of accommodation. In case you are lodging at the high-end Mweya safari Lodge you will enjoy a swim in the pool to cool the afternoon heat.
In the afternoon you will have your first game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and this will give you the opportunity to see the various animals and colorful birds. Your expert guide will lead you on this drive showing and explaining to you more about the trees, birds, animals, plants and reptiles including warthogs, giant African Elephants, king of the jungle- lion among many others. Have your camera on standby so as not to miss out on any photographic opportunity.You will dine and sleep at the lodge of your choice with evening views of the Crater Lake, the savannah and the Kazinga Channel.

Day 2: Morning game drive and Kazinga Channel boat trip
This morning you do not have to expect a smell of breakfast while on this safari in the heart of Africa (Queen Elizabeth National park) as you are awaken by the staff on duty at your lodge in Queen Elizabeth safari park. Early in the morning you will be awaken to set off for an early morning game drive in the park so as to see the early risers. On this drive you will come across large elephant herds, see some lions in the far Savannah grass plus Buffaloes grazing in addition to Birds and colorful butterflies. This early morning game drive may last between 1 and 3 hours which you actually won’t be able to realize how fast time goes by.
You will then return to the lodge where you will rest as you wait for lunch. After that you will leave for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel to see hippos playing, numerous bird species, buffaloes as well as crocodiles. It is a fascinating, unhurried boat ride which is actually the highlight of a Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park.You will then have you final dinner on this Uganda safari in Queen Elizabeth as doze away to the gentle echoes of the habitants of the surrounding wilderness.

Day 3: Travel back to Kampala
In the morning you will enjoy breakfast at leisure and there after begin your journey back to Kampala. You will have lunch in Mbarara town, stop by the equator crossing to take some photographs and buy some souvenirs at the craft shop. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening; however if you can extend your safari by a day, you may enjoy chimpanzee tracking in the Kyambura gorge within Queen Elizabeth National park Kyambura Gorge as well as see the tree climbing lions in the Ishasha region.
