Luxury Primate Safari 10 days
Day 1: Arrival
On arrival at the Entebbe international Airport will be welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel.
Day 2:Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After a relaxed breakfast we will depart Entebbe and head west to Fort Portal, with lunch en route. The beautiful Fort Portal is found in the shadow of the legendary “Mountains of the Moon” and is renowned for its numerous tea plantations; then proceed to Kibale National Park. Dine and slumber in the deluxe safari tents of Primate Lodge Kibale.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Bigodi Swamp
Today you will explore the forest as you set out chimpanzee tracking. This Kibale Forest is well-known for habiting the biggest variety as well as the highest number of primates in the whole of East Africa. Have a guided nature walk within the tropical rainforest looking for black and white colobus monkeys, red tailed monkeys, wild chimpanzees, and many more.
Following a hearty lunch you will visit the Bigodi swamp for a completely unique nature walk. The Bigodi Village walk is a project of the locals of Bigodi Village and it’s renowned for its amazing birdlife diversity as well as numerous primates. Dine and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale cottages.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Following breakfast, you will leisurely drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park driving through the crater lakes region. You will have lunch, rest and later have a game drive looking for some animals such as elephants, warthogs, waterbucks plus buffaloes. Dine and slumber at Mweya Safari Lodge.

Day 5: Game drive & Boat cruise
Begin the day early with a game drive in the morning and go to the mating ground of the beautiful Uganda Kobs. We look for buffaloes, lions and elephants, plus many more wild animals in this natural habitat prior to returning to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will have a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which is a natural channel connecting Lakes Edward and George. Because of the plentiful birdlife seen plus the numerous elephants and buffaloes in addition to hundreds of hippopotami cooling off at the banks; this cruise is actually among the highlights of this safari. Dine and slumber at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Following breakfast drive southwards through to the Ishasha sector of the park to see the renowned tree climbing lions. Following a brief game drive within this area you will head to Bwindi driving through the beautiful countryside, past several traditional homesteads as you enjoy the spectacular views. You will arrive in Bwindi National Park which is home of the internationally renowned endangered mountain gorillas. Dine and sleep at Mahogany Springs.

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking
The highlight of this safari will be coming face to face with the peaceful giant gorillas of Bwindi! Be prepared to walk a lengthy distance on the steep muddy slopes of the park and at times with rain overhead, prior to you encountering the gorillas. However it will certainly be worthwhile when you finally come to see them playing, feeding and resting. It is a very memorable enjoyable experience! People who rather not participate in gorilla tracking may opt to have a guided forest walk or even explore neighborhood on a Buhoma Village Walk. Dine and slumber at Mahogany Springs.
Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Following breakfast drive from Bwindi impenetrable forest to Lake Mburo National Park. As we go into the park you will likely see a number of wild animals. After checking in you’ll have a boat ride on this lake to see the great profusion of birds and numerous hippos cooling off in shallows. You will enjoy early dinner a head of setting off for a game drive in the night within an open Land Cruiser having spot light. The night game drive is very unique and goes for 2 to 3 hours with opportunities to see nocturnal animals. Dine and slumber at Mihingo Lodge.

Day 9: Lake Mburo National Park – Kampala
Begin the day early with a guided walking safari led by a ranger. Actually Lake Mburo National Park is solely the national park in which you can enjoy a safari on foot. You will return to your lodge for a delicious breakfast and then leave for Kampala more game viewing en route. You will arrive in the afternoon and spend the day at leisure or choose to have a city tour, or go shopping. Dine and slumber at Le Petit Village.
Day 10: Departure
After breakfast you will be taken to the airport to catch your departure flight. This will be the end of our 10 safari.
