The walking may take anything from 2 to 8 hours basing on how far the gorillas have moved. Mountain Gorillas can never be found living in zoos however there are just a few still surviving in the world. Following the gorilla tracking, you may opt to stay within the Bwindi area and meet the Batwa people or take a drive to the stunning Lake Bunyonyi found in Kabale and then unwind at the Arcadia Cottages or Heritage Lodge.
If you choose to stay around the Bwindi area, you will meet the Batwa people and see how they for ages past managed to survive entirely on this forest.
